Bilan de la toxicité aiguë

La cyromazine possède une faible toxicité aiguë peu importe la voie d'exposition. Elle n'est pas irritante pour la peau et les yeux et elle ne cause pas de sensibilisation cutanée.

Bilan des effets à long terme

Dans les études à long terme chez les rats et les souris, aucune évidence de cancérogénicité n'a été observée à la plus haute dose tolérée. Seuls des effets mineurs ont été observés tel qu'une baisse de poids corporel. Chez les chiens, une altération de certains paramètres hématologiques a été observée lors d'une étude subchronique. Dans des études sur la reproduction et le développement des animaux de laboratoire, les petits n'ont pas démontré de sensibilité accrue comparativement aux adultes après une exposition in utero et/ou postnatale à la cyromazine. Elle n'est ni génotoxique ni neurotoxique et elle ne perturbe pas la fonction endocrinienne.
